2024-25
During my internship at Inner Circle I gained hands-on experience with UX research and testing, I joined the product team to improve the user experience through research, testing, and close collaboration with design and development.
I conducted interviews, analyzed user behavior, and ran quick tests to identify friction points — from onboarding to feature discoverability — and translated insights into design proposals, some of which were implemented in the app.
Halfway through my internship, I became interim UX designer, taking more ownership in design, from wireframes to feedback and product decisions. I gained confidence in a professional setting and discovered how much I enjoy user-based research, uncovering patterns and turning insights into improvements. This confirmed I want to keep combining research and design in my future career.
This internship taught me how to work in a user-centered and data-informed way within a real product environment. I learned to balance user needs with business goals, and to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting. Taking on the interim UX designer role pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow both professionally and personally.
